Like the M...I think it's just camera snobbery. Like the Minolta MD series and the Celtic line of lenses, maybe the build may not be as robust, but image-wise, the same. The only one I have is the 50/1.8 but it has returned fine results from every subject at which I have aimed it. I'd love to have the 28mm and the 35mm versions.
